This peer-led sitting group was created by and for racialized folks. Over the next number of months, we will explore the Brahmaviharas. Thich Nhat Hanh describes them as the four elements of love: love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. These four elements are invitations for a greater embodied presence to support connection, transformation and healing.
A lot of people find it easier to offer compassion to others—but not to themselves. This one-day workshop is based on the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program. We will explore ways to meet ourselves with kindness, practice some self-compassion fundamentals, and address common roadblocks on that journey.
