Ten Thousand Things: Zen Encounters with the Creative Unknown

  • Mountain Rain Zen Community 2016 Wall Street Vancouver, B.C. Canada (map)

This workshop series invites you to explore creativity not as a product, but as a way of being. Through simple, meditative forms of making—such as mark-making, stitching, and calligraphy—we will approach creative practice as a path of attention, discovery, and letting go.

Rooted in Zen teachings and held in a contemplative environment, Ten Thousand Things offers space to meet the unknown with openness and curiosity. Together, we will explore how quiet acts of creation can become expressions of the Dharma and companions on the path of liberation.

No artistic experience is needed. This series is open to all who wish to explore the creative process as a form of spiritual inquiry and embodied practice.
