In-Person Zendo Practice during Covid-19

Updated May 1, 2023

In consultation with the MRZC health and safety advisory committee, and in accordance with current provincial health risks and advisories, the infection control standing practices are now as follows:

·        Mask-wearing: optional. Participants are welcome to choose to wear a mask if it increases their sense of personal safety and/or out of consideration for others.

·          Hand washing and/or sanitizing upon entry to the zendo, after meals/washroom etc.

·          Health self-monitoring (especially respiratory/gastric illness) and request participants remain home if ill and until symptoms are resolved.

This policy applies to all Mountain Rain events and locations (non-residential, residential) and off-site rental venues.

We will remain vigilant to circumstances and will be prepared to reinstate safety measures should there be increased health and safety risks in our community.

We rely on you to ensure that we can continue to practice safely in person at both our locations and we extend our sincere gratitude to you, for showing up and supporting the practice through the many months of the pandemic.
