Sitting in Zazen we watch thoughts and feelings as they arise and dissolve—without judging or holding on. As we practice, we let go of judgements and anchor awareness in the breath.
Practicing Intuitive Art, or “Elevated Doodling,” is a similar process. With pen and ink in hand, we draw freely, guided by body, breath, and instinct rather than a predetermined image. As patterns and shapes emerge, self-judgment fades—and we simply enjoy the dance of line, texture, and form.
