A Good Year for the Mountain Rain Endowment Fund

The MRZC Endowment Fund, which is held in conjunction with the Vancouver Foundation, had a prosperous 2025. At the start of the year it was worth $61,000 and ended with $68,000. This $7,000 increase was comprised of donations and growth in roughly equal portions.

This Endowment Fund was set up to ensure long-term financial stability with the 5% annual disbursement offering creative opportunities such as subsidies for retreats.

Since it’s inception on August 12, 2024 over 100 people have contributed to the fund demonstrating broad based sangha support.
