An evening of engaged Buddhist action, education & connection on the theme of Climate Justice

Mountain Rain is pleased to offer this evening program in the spirit of what is to come in our fall practice period on Engaged Buddhist practice.  Jizan RedSara will offer a not-too-long presentation* about climate change from a global and local perspective.  This grassroots presentation and discussion is designed to inform people of the risks of climate change and the Kinder Morgan pipeline, and to empower us to build the sustainable communities we want to live in.
Sara says: I saw this presentation and immediately thought to offer a version to our wider Buddhist sangha.  It's clear and factual, on a solutions-oriented platform.  We will combine this with sitting meditation and time to share and connect on our love of the world which shines at the root of our practice.
