Upcoming Way-seeking Mind Talks
/Way-seeking mind (bodaishin) is the aspiration to awaken not just for oneself, but for the benefit of all beings, the mind of a bodhisattva. A way-seeking mind talk tells how an individual came to Zen practice and how it has influenced their life. Each one is unique, and told in a distinctive way, but there are always common threads among the listeners. Please come out and support our upcoming speakers. Part of our regular Sunday morning practice schedule, talk at 11:10.
Sunday, September 21 Shinto Travis Clyne
Wednesday, September 24 Shungetsu Jess Magonet
Sunday, September 28 Unmon Jacob Butula
Please note that Shuso (head monk) Myosen River Shannon will also be offering a Way-seeking Mind Talk during our practice period opening retreat Saturday, October 4.
