Mountain Rain’s Diversity Equity Inclusion Accessibility (DEIA) committee invites you to an online learning opportunity: Many Communities, One Sangha is a guided, digital course for Buddhist communities with instruction by Mushim Ikeda, Rhonda Magee, and Crystal Johnson
The course was designed by East Bay Meditation Centreas an online facilitated community inquiry to support and energize sanghas and dharma practitioners seeking to create more equitable, inclusive communities.
We invite you to join in deep inquiry and practice to investigate how we can create the ongoing conversation in our dharma communities and our lives that will allow us to create community spaces that provide safety, dignity and belonging to as diverse a group of people as possible.
This event might be of particular interest to those in our sangha who live outside the Vancouver area. We appreciate registration so we have an idea how many to expect. Zoom link will be posted closer to the date.
Dana is the word for generosity in the ancient language of Pali. Dana is often offered to teachers for their help transmitting the dharma. In this case, dana can be sent directly to East Bay Meditation Centre and information on how to do that will be provided during the event
