Buddhist wisdom and practice may help you face today’s disturbing ecological/social catastrophes. EcoSattva training was developed by One Earth Sangha, a non-sectarian group of Buddhist teachers keen to support people of any faith to connect deeply with the Earth, other creatures, and wisdom teachings. In October, Mountain Rain Zen, will again offer a Zoom version of the course.
This course consists of eight sessions, every 2nd week, 7:30-9:00 pm (Pacific time), ) on Thursdays beginning Oct 14 to Feb 3, 2022. Preparation consists of viewing and learning from videos developed by One Earth teachers.
The Thursday course is co-facilitated by : Fred Bass of Mountain Rain and Carol Normandi of San Rafael, California.
The fee to register in a group of 7-12 is US$113 (Cndn$140). Individual registration is US$150 (Cndn$188). The course description and scholarship information can be found here. Beyond scholarship help, a lower fee is asked of “people with relatively low access to wealth in the global context.” Once registered, participants will have lifetime access to the resources of the course and to monthly, online broadcasts by One Earth teachers.
