From time immemorial, women have gathered in circles of sharing: in churches and temples, kitchens and courtyards, fields and forests. In this weekend retreat we will express our Zen practice through: silent meditation, chant and song, ceremony, movement, writing, art-making, speaking and listening from the heart, preparing and sharing meals together.
The retreat will be led by Myoshin Kate McCandless, resident teacher of Mountain Rain Zen Community, in collaboration with other women sangha leaders.
Place: Blue Mountain Zendo, in Mission, BC (near Maple Ridge border) is in the home of Mountain Rain Zen's resident teachers.
Time: Saturday, April 2 9:00 AM to Sunday, April 3 4:00 PM
Meals included and overnight accommodation at Blue Mountain Zendo and with a local sangha host
