Membership is a personal commitment that says, YES— I am a part of this community, and I want to contribute. As members, we share the work and costs of our community, offering our gifts of skills, time and/or financial support, as each of us is able.

Members receive regular reports from the Mountain Rain council and are invited to members’ meetings to participate in shaping and developing our practice community.

As a member you can:

• Serve on MRZC council, practice committee and other standing committees. (There may be other requirements for some of these roles.)

• Participate in major sangha decisions and planning at the annual general meeting and other sangha meetings.

• Receive access to early registration for certain retreats and sesshins.

• Be considered for residential practice.

Steps to become a member:

• Fill out our membership form, indicating your intended ways of supporting MRZC.

• Consider making a one-time or monthly financial contribution. How much you choose to give is up to you.

• Sign up for our mailing list - optional but recommended!

Membership renewal

• Membership is for the calendar year. Renewals are due each March at the latest.

• We will send out a short form for renewal early in the year and follow up with reminder emails. Please make sure to respond to the renewal request to keep your membership up-to-date.
